I'm off to Calgary this morning. I got the first flight out of Sacto (6:50 AM) and am paying for it here at SFO. And just to add insult to injury, it appears that the powers that be here in San Francisco have decided to change food / coffee concessionaires. Gone are the dozens of Starbucks and Breakfast shops; In their place are small Peet's Coffee carts and closed food stands. Needless to say, it's bedlam: Half awake travelers arguing with hopelessly overworked coffeeristas about the meaning of "iced soy americano with space".
Hopefully, my trip will start looking up when I find a good old fashion Tim Horton north of the border. I'l post some pictures from downtown Calgary this week.
