UFO Wings
As soon as I post a that nothing is going on in my life, I pass this monstracity on the US-80. As you can see from the picture, it was white, about 70' long, made of a strange fiberglass like materials and hollow. As AeroJet (a prime contractor for NASA) is just down the road from me, my bet is that it is alien in origin. If anyone else has any better guess what this could be, leave a comment.

Zen
Sorry that I've been a little bit lax on the posting lately, but between writing the second edition of my first book (eh?) and driving the I-80 corridor between here and the Bay Area, there hasn't been much to talk about. Oh, except that I am writing a second edition of my first book. And me getting to spend a little bit of many mornings in Coyote Hills Park. Since I have to leave very early in the morning to get into the Bay Area, I never know exactly when I will get there (traffic makes the trip varied between 2 hrs and 3.5 hrs). When I make good time, I spend my extra hour in this park along the San Francisco Bay. Conviently, its just across the Bay (and the Dumbarton Bridge) from my officeplex, but still awesome and quiet. This picture is on the south side of the park, looking north along the Harrier Trail toward San Francisco and Alcatraz. I've got a few other pics on my Flickr page.

New Browser
Wow. I upgraded to Firefox 1.5 on Ubuntu and it is so much faster that it doesn't even seem like the same browser. I had heard that there were some memory leak issues with the 1.07 supplied browser with Ubuntu 5.10, but this is amazing.
I actually only upgraded so that I could run performancing, a new blogging tool implemented as a firefox extension.

Fame
While our parents have said that hanging out at bars drinking beer would never make us famous, Kelly and I have incontrovertible proof to the contrary. Exhibit A: Kelly and I clearly in the background of this local late news interview.
And we are even drinking beer.
